Teaching

Mentor

I mentored two professional Master students for their internship projects. It was my fortunate to work with Arvind Nair for mentoring his internship at Bell with Professor Dhanya Sridhar. It was my fortunate to work with Paul Kelendji for mentoring his internship at DeepRiver with Professor Bang Liu.

Teaching Assistant

I worked as a Teaching Assistant for two semesters at McGill for COMP 202: Foundations of Programming. This course is an introduction to computer programming in a high level language: variables, expressions, primitive types, methods, conditionals, loops. Introduction to algorithms, data structures (arrays, strings), modular software design, libraries, file input/output, debugging, exception handling. Selected topics. I worked with Professor Faten M'hiri for this course.

Teaching Assistant

I worked as a Teaching Assistant for two semesters at McGill for COMP 250: Introduction to Computer Science. This course is about Mathematical tools (binary numbers, induction, recurrence relations, asymptotic complexity, establishing correctness of programs). Datastructures (arrays, stacks, queues, linked lists, trees, binary trees, binary search trees, heaps, hash tables). Recursive and non-recursivealgorithms (searching and sorting, tree andgraph traversal). Abstract data types. Objectoriented programming in Java (classes andobjects, interfaces, inheritance). Selected topics. I worked with Professor Giulia Alberini for this course.
